We have very good memories of Bryce Canyon National Park. One of the most beautiful National Parks that we have seen so far. Bryce National Park is named after Ebenezer and Mary Bryce, who lived in the Paria River Valley around 1880. His statement about Bryce Canyon is brilliant. "It was a hell of a place to lose a cow."
Bryce Canyon was created by millions of years of erosion. The limestone and sandstone formations are called Hoodoo's. A Hoodoo is a pillar of rock, usually in an imaginative form, created by erosion. It is believed that Hoodoo enchant everyone who visits Bryce.
Geologists think that 10 million years ago, earthquakes have caused the moving of large rocks which are now known as Paunsaugunt and Table Cliffs.

Nice vantage points in Bryce Canyon Sunrise Point, Sunset Point, Inspiration Point and Bryce Point.
Inspiration Point provides a beautiful view of the Bryce Amphitheater.

In the menu on the left is the description of the walk that we made in Bryce Canyon National Park.
