We were brought to the house of virgin Mary and Ephesus. Ephesus lies about 20 km from Kuşadası. It's a Greek/Roman harbour city with a big library and amphitheater. It is turistical because it has been preserverd so well. Ephesus was very beautifull but most of all hot. Especially Chris was affected by the heat. The House of the Virgin Mary is on top of a hill. We were brought there with a taxi. The taxi driver knew no fear and wanted to be at the top as fast as possible. We weren't in that big a rush.... Except to get out of the taxi. The house of the Virgin Mary lies 9 km from Ephesus. It is claimed that the virgin Mary spent the last days of her life here.
