A popular attraction in London: Buckingham Palace. This is the official residence of the Queen of England. The palace is very big and ornamented with a lot of gold. Everywhere you look you see guards and police.
When we walked through the park we saw a squirrel and thought it was kind of special. Later, during more walks, we saw them in such large numbers that it seemed they were put there on purpose.

Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the Queen of England and was iriginally known as Buckingham House. The palace has 775 rooms and a total floorspace of 77.000 m2. Every day (every other day in winter) the Changing of the Guards takes place in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace. Several sections of Buckingham Palace are accessible to the public.

A city trip to London isn't complete without a visit to Buckingham Palace.
