Today starts like yesterday ended. The sun isn't showing itself and we decide to take the car and drive north a bit further. We are about 100 miles from the artic circle, so we want to see how close we can get. Unfortunately the black top stops 60 miles before the artic circle. We stop at the pipeline to go for a walk. Only the rain doesn't want to stop. This makes the surroundings look kind of sad, the burnt trees, the rain and nature trying to restore itself. In 2004 there was a major forest fire, and it's still very visible. About 6.59 million square miles were burned down.
At the end of the day we see our first moose. He is at the side of the road and we really need to brake if we want to avoid hitting him. This gives us the opportunity to take a picture of this enormous animal.
