Ribeiro Frio offers a view to the highest point on Madeira. From a large parking area there is a trail towards the viewpoint. From this point you have a great view of the island. It shouldn't surprise you tat this place is very touristic and that the parking lot is full of touring cars. You don't want to miss the view towards Penha de Aguia de Baixo during a drive across the island.
