Regent's Park and Sherlock Holmes Museum - London - England - UK

London

During our walk on Christmas day we ended up in Regent's Park. We crossed the park and enjoyed the birds. On the way back we passed the 'home' of Sherlock Holmes.

The Regent's Park was formerly known as Marylebone Park and covers an area of 2 km2. It is close to Primrose Hill from where you have a view of Westminster and London City. In the middle of the park are the Queen Mary's Gardens.

The Sherlock Holmes museum is located at 239 Baker Street and is the most popular privately run museum in London. Mail addressed to 221b Baker Street, the address where Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson lived, is delivered to the museum.
