During Christmas of 2002 we went to London. Here we enjoyed the 'big city'. It realy can not be compared to Amsterdam or Paris. It was very interesting to London totaly deserted during Chrsitmas day, even the shopping streets were empty.
London lies in the south east of England and is crossed by the river Thames. There are about 7.3 milion people living in London divided over 32 boroughs. There are a lot of attractions in London amongst which: the Tower of London, the Palace of Westminster with the Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the Tower Bridge and St. Paul's Catherdral. The newest attractions in London are the Millenium Dome and the Londen Eye.
